Our hand-made Thai Shu Cha is an artisanal fermented tea produced in the Chaing Rai mountains. Barely 100kg of tea can be obtained solely by hand from mature trees. This unique Puerh tea is the result of a lot of patience, experimentation, and development invested by a shu cha lover in cooperation with a small workshop in Wawee to obtain perfectionist artisanal fermentation techniques.
Unlike other contemporary shu cha, this tea is a unique characteristic is level of fermentation. It is very moderate to compare it to the completely fermented ones which give the tea lightness, fluidity, and freshness.
The infusion is not very intensive, but it has a warm and truly pleasant character. Honey, date, and betel nut notes are noticeable.
