The other side of tea

2023 Kokang Shu Cha

Price range: 9.50 € through 32.00 €

The leaves come from the Kokang autonomous region in Myanmar. They were then fermented in Menghai, which is regarded as the region with the most experience in shu cha fermentation.

This tea is the result of a light and balanced fermentation process, which preserves the natural qualities of the leaves. The result of this process is a tea with a rich flavour, featuring woody notes reminiscent of classic shu cha from the past, along with subtle hints of incense, nuts, and vanilla.
