The other side of tea

2025 Yuanbao Shan Forest Hong Cha

Price range: 10.50 € through 33.00 €

The colours of these beautiful, fresh leaves still growing on the bushes range from a lush green reminiscent of moss, through burgundy and deep brown, to black. These wild varieties of tea bushes and trees, so different from those I have seen before, grow on the slopes of the Yuanbao Mountains. The days it took to reach these places are the essence of this tea.

The leaves are picked by the villagers and then processed by a small producer, the only one in the area who produces tea for sale. In my opinion, this is a truly rare tea delicacy.
