‘Kohiki’ tea cups were made by Czech artist Jiří Duchek.
Everything that happens on the surface is created solely by the process of wood burning – flames, and ashes. Firing takes place in a wood-fired kiln. Jiří Duchek’s handcrafted ceramics are made of clay obtained from local landscapes by the master himself. Its path from digging, through the processing of the clay to the final masterpiece, takes around one year.
