The other side of tea

You Le Mountain is located in the northeast of Jinghong City in Xishuangbanna Prefecture.

The tea we offer comes from old trees growing in a small garden at an altitude of about 1,500 meters above sea level. It was harvested and processed traditionally, entirely by hand by the growers. The raw mao cha tea was matured for almost a year and then stone-pressed.

The infusion is very aromatic, full and round, slightly sweet, delicate, and fruity with floral notes and a slight vegetal bitterness, with forest and honey aroma.

It is a very different type of tea from typical You Le teas. It is quite rounded and aromatic, without much astringency. Well balanced with some density. It can seem quite smooth, which due to its freshness, will become more multidimensional and complex over time.
