The other side of tea

2005 Yiwu Shan ‘1930’s Replica’ Sheng Puerh

23.00 299.00

A superb and beautiful tea. The brewed tea is characterized by a richness of flavor. With successive infusions, the tea reveals its multi-structured character, slowly releasing tannins before developing nuances of sweetness. Accents of tobacco, fine wood, dried fruit, and camphor, complemented by waxy and resinous accents, round off the whole experience.

The tea we offer was commissioned by a Taiwanese trader and was modeled on the tea of the famous early 20th-century producer Tong Qing Hao. Reproducing teas such as ‘old master teas’ was a popular trend among Taiwanese traders.
